Standard Chartered Bank IFSC Code: MICR Code & Addresses in India
In Standard Chartered, IFSC codes are used to identify the different branches distinctly. It is primarily applied in monetary transfers. Different e-fund transfer systems like NEFT and RTGS dispatch the funds to a destination bank branch with the help of IFSC codes.

The IFSC code is made up of eleven characters, distributed into three sections. The first section has four characters. They denote the identity of the bank. The fifth character is a zero. It is placed in between the two sections for future employment. The third section has six characters that point out a particular bank branch.
