      Obtaining a permanent registration certificate is mandatory for every vehicle to be driven in Mizoram. A vehicle owner needs to apply for a permanent RC in the nearest Mizoram RTO within 7 days of receiving the delivery of the vehicle. Here are the documents needed for the same:

      How to Get a Permanent Registration Certificate in Mizoram?

      If you have obtained a temporary RC from the dealer, make sure to apply for a permanent RC before the expiry of temporary RC. If you are directly applying for a pemanent RC, you should apply within 7 days of taking the delivery of the vehicle. Follow the steps given below:

      The validity of new vehicle registration is of 15 years after which it is required to renew the RC within 60 days of the expiry date. Here is how a vehicle owner can apply for renewal of RC in Mizoram RTO:

      How to Pay Mizoram Road Tax Online?

      With the introduction of the Parivahan Sewa portal and app, vehicle owners can easily pay road tax online for vehicles registered in Mizoram. Here is how you can do so:

      Navigate to the "Online Services" section on the website's homepage

      From here, select the "Other Services" option

      Now click on the "Tax and Fee" option

      On the next page, select your state as "Mizoram"

      Fine for Non-Payment of Mizoram Road Tax
