7 Safety Tips for Two-Wheeler Riders in Uttar Pradesh (UP)

Here are 7 safety tips for two-wheeler riders in Uttar Pradesh to help avoid fines or challans and ensure a safer environment for all on the road:

Wear a Helmet: Both the rider and the pillion rider should mandatorily wear an ISI-approved helmet while on the roads.

Obey Traffic Signals: Always stop at red lights and follow traffic signals as the authorities instruct. Jumping red lights can endanger the safety of everyone on the road and result in hefty fines.

Use Proper Indicators: Use the indicators properly while taking turns or changing lanes. This helps prevent accidents and avoid fines.

Carry a Valid License and Vehicle Certificate: In India, as a two-wheeler owner, you should have a valid DL (Driving License) and RC (Registration Certificate) while riding it.

Avoid Riding Without Insurance: Always ensure your bike is insured with at least a third-party bike insurance policy, as it is mandatory in India. Riding without can lead to fines and leave you in trouble during an accident.

Maintain Speed Limits: Adhere to the prescribed speed limits on the signboards. Over-speeding increases the risk of accidents and attracts fines.

Avoid Riding on the Wrong Lane/Side: Another significant tip to avoid fatal accidents and bike challans in UP is to always stick to the right side of the road and ride in the dedicated two-wheeler lane.
