Congratulations are in order for the entire Policybazaar crew! Today was a big day for all of us because Policybazaar just launched a new brand identity, PB for business. And it's set to make waves in the corporate insurance world! We entered the corporate insurance market only two years ago and have quickly become the fastest-growing corporate insurance business. This called for a separate business identity and a bigger commitment, which led to the launch of this sub-brand, PB for business.
While Policybazaar has already established itself as a major player in the retail insurance segment, the launch of PB for business marks a significant expansion into the corporate insurance market. And with the expertise and resources of the Policybazaar team behind it, PB for business is poised for success.
The unveiling was followed up by a few words from our favourite inspirational leader, Sarbvir Singh, Joint Group CEO at Policybazaar.com. He said “Even though we’re an established brand in the retail insurance sector, we must have the mindset of a startup for PB for business. We need to approach this segment with humility at the top of it all. And I’m sure with collective effort, we will make it a success.”
Tarun Mathur, Co-founder and Chief Business Officer at Policybazaar, gathering cheers from the audience, said “15 years ago, we were told no one would buy insurance online. But fortunately, we aced the online retail insurance business. Today, we are launching PB for business. I am confident that in the next 5 years, we will be among the top 5 brokers in the corporate insurance space.”
Sajja Praveen Chowdary, Head of PB for Business, added “Today marks a step forward in our collective goal of ensuring a well-insured India. And I am here to tell you all that we will do whatever it takes to make it in the corporate insurance space."
Alok Bansal, Co-founder and Exec Vice Chairman at Policybazaar.com, also graced the stage with his presence and commenting on the path forward for this new business, he said “At the bottom of any good customer experience lies three things: the best product, best buying experience and best claim experience. You do that, and you have a customer for life.”
The launch wasn't all business. The excitement it inspired was topped off with a special act by stand-up comedian, Pratyush Chaubey. Corporate jokes and millennial existential crisis were the highlight of his comedy routine and everyone left with a smile on their faces.
