ManipalCigna unveiled its newest product today at Policybazaar’s headquarters - Prime Senior, a one-of-a-kind health plan designed specifically for senior citizens. The launch event was a true celebration of the love and respect that Policybazaar and ManipalCigna have for the elderly, and it reflects in every feature of the product.

Filmy flair

The event kicked off with Siddharth Singhal, Head of Health BU at Policybazaar.com, setting the stage for what was to come. He said, “Just like Raj and Simran from DDLJ, Policybazaar and ManipalCigna also share an unbreakable bond. A few years ago, ManipalCigna had the biggest share in policybazaar’s portfolio, which reduced over time, and now we’re back into partnership again. We couldn’t be more excited.”

Empathy leading the way


The MD and CEO of ManipalCigna, Prasun, showed us why Prime Senior is the real deal. He spoke about the prime features that make this product stand out from the rest and how it was born out of a genuine concern for the health and well-being of our elders. 

He said, “Senior citizens are burdened with a lot of health issues and need special attention and care, and this product solves all of those problems with its unique approach." Under this plan, there are no proportionate deductions on choosing a higher room category, no long PED waiting period, and no reduction of bonus on account of the claim. Sounds almost too good to be true, right? But it’s all very much real.

A mini KBC

The event organizers spiced things up with a KBC-esque quiz that had everyone on the edge of their seats. It was a digital quiz that was accessible via a QR code on everyone’s mobiles. The quiz had 11 questions in total and the top 5 players won special prizes, adding some extra excitement to an already awesome day.

A sweet ending

The event wrapped up with a cake-cutting ceremony with both Policybazaar and ManipalCigna teams present on the stage. It was the perfect way to celebrate the launch of this innovative product.
