Nurturing Indian mothers to take charge of their finances

Mother’s Day - a day to celebrate mothers and everything related to them. There’s a saying that fits this day pretty well. “Motherhood is the exquisite inconvenience of being another person’s everything.” We all can’t salute mothers enough for all that they do. 

While mothers can handle almost everything under the sun seamlessly, somehow there’s just one area that they don’t take charge in - managing money. Blame it on years of conditioning, or the society’s structure - most women are simply not in the habit of handling their finances themselves. It’s high time that this changes and that mothers get complete control over their money.
