Braking & Handling:
HD750 at 220Kg wet weight is not a light bike. However, it handles beautifully for a cruiser. There is never a problem while riding in the city or highways. City traffic is cut easily, highway miles are munched without breaking sweat. Show it a set of corners & this Harley doesn’t back off and you end up slowing down because of the scraping foot pegs & not because of the chassis giving in. Bike has telescopic forks in the front & Dual shock absorbers at the rear with a travel of 3.5inch & 5.5inch respectively. It rides on 100/80 17’ front & 140/75 15’ rear wheels.
- The seating position on HD750 is low with typical cruiser like upright stance.
- HD750 gets a single 300mm disc brake in front & a single disc at the rear.
- The bike misses out on ABS.
What Insurance cover to opt for:
An American cruiser made in India is still a costly proposition. It is important to have an insurance cover which can get you through costly repairs in case of a crash as well as in the unfortunate case of theft.
- A premium product like HD750 needs 0% depreciation insurance as it goes a long way in keeping the repair bills down in case of a fall.
- It is a good idea to have an insurance that gives you complete cover from theft as a premium is a thief magnet.
- Always prefer an insurance that gives you cashless benefit.
