Indore is also one of the commercial hubs of India, which attracts a large population from across the country. Moreover, due to less knowledge of driving etiquette, people do not follow traffic rules properly in the city. Therefore, the city traffic police are highly vigilant when it comes to tackling traffic violations in Indore.
With the increasing traffic rules violations and road accidents all over the country, the Indian Government amended the Motor Vehicles Act in 2019, which came into effect on September 1, 2019.
