Universal Account Number, also known as UAN is a special allotted 12-digit number by the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) to every salaried employee who is making contributions towards the Employee Provident Fund (EPF) of the country. UAN Member Portal has made it easier for employees to access their Provident Fund (PF) account by sitting at their homes. The employee can know their PF balance, withdraw money from the PF account, check the PF balance, and much more just by making a few clicks.

e-Sewa UAN Member Portal
A one-stop solution for all the Provident Fund-related queries and services online, the e-Sewa portal helps in knowing the PF account status, checking balance, withdrawal and deposits, past details of the employee, etc.
It is important to know that as per the rules by the Government of India, any organization that has more than 20 employees has to have online EPFO UAN registration.
Registration Process for E-Sewa Portal
To undergo the registration process, the following steps need to be followed:
Visit the website https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/
Click on the “Activate UAN” tab at the bottom right under the “Important links”
Enter the basic details like,
Member ID
Aadhaar card number
PAN card number
Name
Birth Date
Mobile number
Email ID
The captcha mentioned on the page
Click on the “Get Authorization Pin” tab
A PIN will be generated on your registered mobile number
Enter the PIN for UAN activation in the column
An auto-generated password will be messaged on your mobile numberÂ
Once successfully logged in, change the password at your convenience
