The system was developed by the Ministry of Defence in order to sanction and disbursement of the pension amount to armed forces viz Defence Civilians, Air Force, and Army Forces.
The pensioner or beneficiary of Sparsh Defence Pension may completely access his pension account details. The system makes everything transparent to the beneficiary. The Sparsh platform maintains the history of payments disbursed to the pensioner. In addition, it also consists of every entitlement of the pensioner along with his rights and date of commencement and cessation of the pension. The Defence Account Department is responsible for administering the pension amount via the principal controller of defence accounts.

Every pensioner who comes under defence pension is allotted a unique account number upon the audited pension claim forwarded to the principal controller of the defence account. The pensioners may get their account number on their registered mobile number or email address. Once the service account holder prepares the pension claims, the pensioner may see them on the portal for verification. This process is known as Pensioner Data Verification (PDV). The PDV is expected to ensure that the pensioner is satisfied with the information produced or uploaded by Pension Sanction Authority. The pensioner may also furnish the declaration or nomination if necessary.
In order to log in to the Sparsh pension system, the user is required to follow these simple steps:
Visit the official site of the Sparsh Defence Pension.
The beneficiary has already received the user ID and password to his registered mobile number or email address.
The user is now required to put in the ID along with the password.
In addition, the user must not forget that the last two digits of the user ID are 01.
Next, the user is required to put in the captcha and select the login button.
Now, the user may reach the Sparsh web portal. However, the user must change the password after logging in for the first time.
Upon logging in, the user may change his password.Â
In the second step, the user needs to submit the declaration with regard to the issues which may take place in future.
One such issue might be the refund of excess payment.
Further, the beneficiary must also get the personal documentation done along with his Aadhaar.
Upon entering the Aadhaar number, the user may complete the PDV process.
Finally, upon completion of the PDV process, the user may get the acknowledgment via the Sparsh pension system.Â
Once the user has successfully changed the password and completed the PDV process, he may freely access the Sparsh Defence Pension portal. The user may get a slip of his monthly pension.Â
The user may visit https://birac.nic.in/gyti_registration.php?scheme_type=4 and register for the Sparsh pension system. To do so, the user must follow the listed below steps.
In the first step, a user is required to enter his new user name. Like other platforms, the username must not contain any space or exceptional characters.Â
In the second step, the user is required to fill in his applicant type as an Individual.Â
Now the user may proceed further and put his first and last name.Â
Next, he needs to enter his Date of Birth (DOB) and select his gender. In addition, he is required to fill out the course he has pursued along with the discipline of the course.Â
Later, he needs to fill in the date of initiation of the program along with the date of completion of the program.Â
Now, the user may proceed with his contact details, where he is required to enter his email and residential address.Â
The first address is mandatory to fill in. However, the user may avoid filling in the second address line. The street is optional, but the user must enter the city.Â
In the next step, he is required to enter the country along with the state and pin code of the area where he resides.Â
In the contact section, the user is also required to fill in his landline or mobile number.Â
Upon filling in all the details mentioned above, the user may enter the captcha and click on the declaration section that all the details provided are correct to the best of his knowledge.Â
The details should be filled in correctly, or the user may be held liable for the false representation or misleading the authority. Upon giving his declaration, the user may click on the 'Register' option if he wishes to complete the registration or consider clicking on the 'Cancel' option in case of ambiguity or issue.
The Sparsh defence system is a powerful platform for the government and pensioners to send and receive their pensions on time. The pensioner must provide the digital life certificate in order to avail of the Sparsh Defence Pension every year. The pensioner may furnish or upload the same at Jeevan Pramaan Portal (JJP). The user may access the Sparsh pension system anytime and anywhere.
