How to Login to LIC- e Services

To make use of the wide range of features available on the LIC portal, such as online policy management and payments, it is essential to first register for LIC’s e-Services. 

This allows you to manage your policies, make payments, and access other online services seamlessly through the LIC e-service portal or the LIC digital app. Whether you're a new user or an existing one, the process of LIC registration is simple. Below are the steps to register for LIC e-Services based on different user categories:

LIC E-Services Registration for New Users:

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Life Insurance Corporation of India.

Step 2: Locate and click on the ‘Login’ option.

Step 3: Select the ‘Customer Portal’ from the drop-down menu.

Step 4: On the LIC e-services page, click on the ‘Don’t have an Account? Sign up’ option.

Step 5: Provide the required details and click ‘Proceed’.

Step 6: Complete the LIC online registration process by creating a User ID and Password. These credentials will be used to access your account on the LIC e-service portal.

LIC E-Services Registration for Existing Users:

The only criteria for LIC registration are that the person should be an existing customer and have an account. You cannot register on behalf of your spouse or combine the policy. Each account has its policyholder and will register only one person. For minor accounts, the parents can register until the minors become adults. To avail of the services, go to the registered customer option online to opt for your required facility.

Step 1: Go to the official LIC website.
Step 2: Hover on the “Login” option at the top right corner and click on “Cutsomer Portal” from the drop-down menu.
Step 3: Here, you will get 2 options of logging in with a user ID and with an OTP.
Step 4: Provide the required details and click on “Login”. 

LIC E-Services Registration for Agents:

To serve as an agent of LIC you’ll require the agent code. To avail of this code, you will have to appear and clear a LIC exam. The regulatory author or IRDA will conduct the exam.

In addition, you need to complete the agent registration form online. Your basic information, including education qualifications, will be required.

Who Can Register Online for LIC e-Services?

All existing LIC policyholders in India can register online to avail of the LIC e-Services.  There are no charges for using LIC e-services. Anyone can register in LIC e-Services for policies purchased in his/her name or minor children via LIC online registration. 

You must note that LIC does not allow policyholders to add the name of a spouse to be registered together. If you wish to register your spouse, you need to register them separately.
