The scholarship grants various financial benefits that help girls pursue technical education without making them bear any financial stress. This scheme provides the following benefits:
Reimbursement for the cost of admission and lodging.
Monthly maintenance allowances will be awarded to hosts at â‚ą1500/- and day scholars at â‚ą500/-.
The uniform's refundable cost is â‚ą3,000.
Maintenance Allowances: â‚ą1000/month for in-state apprenticeship training following ITI, and â‚ą1500/month for out-of-state training.
â‚ą5,000 for one month's maintenance allowance following six months of employment outside the state.
Note 1: The student's bank account will receive a direct benefits transfer.
Note 2: Maintenance allowances will be disbursed every six months.
Note 3: Only differential amounts will be awarded to ST, SC, Children of BOC Workers, PwD, MCP, OBC, Minority, Merit, and other recipients of stipends or scholarships.
To qualify for this scholarship, one must fulfill the below eligibility criteria:Â
The candidate must be an Odisha state resident.
The applicant must be over 14 years old.
The applicant must be a member of the EBC, ST, OBC, SEBC, or General category.
The applicant should be enrolled in a diploma, polytechnic, or information technology studies.

The scholarship authority has officially announced the deadline for the government schemes for girl child applications as October 5th, 2024. All students are required to visit the official website and complete the online application process before this date to ensure their eligibility. For this, a set of steps needs to be followed by the applicants:
First, go to the official website of the state scholarship portal.
Go to the top of the page and select the registration option.
After reading the information, select “I Agree” by checking the box.
Continue reading, check the box, and click the "Proceed" button.
After entering the Aadhaar number, choose Verify.
Enter the OTP and add any other information.
Choose the "Register" option and use the portal to log in.
Click the "Apply" button, then choose the scholarship program.
Complete the application that is displayed on the screen.
Add all pertinent information, then attach the files.
Examine the application, then send it in.
Finally, print the page for future use.
