There are two ways to check the Exide Life Insurance policy status online. The first one is by visiting the official website, and the other one is downloading the ‘My Connect’ app. In both cases, customers need to log in to check the status.
Here are the steps to follow to find the policy status:

Step 1: In the case of existing customers, get on the official website of Exide Life. On the home page, the ‘login’ icon is present. Click on it to proceed with the login process.
Step 2: Another page will open. On this page, there is a space to enter ‘Username’. Enter the correct username and click on the ‘Submit button. Enter the password in the respective field and log in to the account.
While entering the username and password, often insured enter the wrong credential as they may forget the details. In that situation, Exide Life allows you to reset the details and log in again. Here are the steps to reset the details:
Whenever you forget the username or login ID, then you need to follow these steps to retrieve the username:
Step 1: You must visit the Exide Life official website and click on ‘login’ in the self-service section. When the separate page opens, there is a button ‘Forgot Login ID’. Click on that.
Step 2: Now, another page will open. There enter the insurer's policy number and birth date and click on the ‘Submit button.
Step 3: Upon submitting, the registered mobile number or email address gets the login credentials.
Step 1: Without entering a valid password, log in to the account is impossible. So, enter the official website and again click on ‘login’. On the other page, click on the ‘Forgot Password’ button.
Step 2: Again a separate page opens. Now, either enter the policy number or login ID along with the date of birth.
Step 3: Click on ‘Submit’, and now another page opens that asks to create a new password.
Step 4: Enter a new password and confirm again to validate it as the password for the upcoming login process.

Step 1: New customers have to enter the Exide Life official website from their device.
Step 2: On the self-service box, the ‘login’ icon is present. Click on it.
Step 3: A new page will open; fill in the details like registered mobile number or policy number and birth date to get started.
Step 4: Upon entering the details, click on Generate OTP. You will receive OTP on the registered number. Enter the OTP and submit.
Step 5: Now, another page opens that asks you to create a username and password. Input these details and remember them for login into the account in future.
The policyholders will have to follow the steps mentioned below to check their Exide Life Insurance Policy Status on Policybazaar:
Step 1: Visit the official website of Policybazaar Brokers Private Limited. On the top right, click on the ‘Sign in’ tab.
Step 2: Enter your registered phone number and the OTP received on the same.
Step 3: You will be redirected to the dashboard. Choose the policy tab, here you can check the status of all the insurance policies you have.
There will always be some policyholders who can’t follow the above methods for checking the status. In that situation, they can visit the branch in person and interact with the advisors and get the status of the policy. Branch officers assist them in finding out the required status. In case of manual visit, always carry policy documents and valid ID proof.

On clicking on the ELI- virtual assistant, you can find these options: I am new to Exide Life; I am an existing customer, Exide Life advisor, contact us and change the preferred language. Select an option as per your requirements and send the message. An existing customer can easily check the Exide Life policy Status using a virtual assistant.
A new customer who wants to buy a policy online can contact the advisors using toll-free number 1800419080. At the same time, existing customers can call 18004198228 for availing of policy servicing facilities.
