The Chief Minister's Overseas Scholarship Scheme for Minorities by the Government of Telangana, launched in 2015-16, provides financial assistance to minority students pursuing postgraduate or doctoral studies at foreign universities. The Kalyana Lakshmi Pathakam, launched by the Government of Telangana on October 2, 2014, provides financial assistance to economically disadvantaged girls from the SC, ST, BC, and EBC communities at the time of their marriage. Exclusions: Non-SC families, individuals earning above Rs. 2.5 lakh, those with government loans, large property owners, and professionals with degrees are not eligible.
The Telangana government launched the Shaadi Mubarak Scheme on October 2, 2014, to prevent child marriages and support financially distressed minority families by providing one-time financial assistance for the marriage of minority community girls.
Financial Assistance: The government provides â‚ą1,00,116 for minority girls and â‚ą1,25,145 for disabled minority girls, credited to the mother's bank account at the time of marriage.
