Inclusions:
This Group Personal Accident insurance policy provides coverage for bodily injury because of an accident that is caused by violent, external, and visible means that results in disablement or death within one year from the accident date.
The cover under this plan is available worldwide and is provided for 24 hours. However, if a company wants to avail restricted cover for its employees for the period they are only at their duty. In this way, the same can be provided by the policyholder in a comparatively lower premium.

Exclusions:
The policy does not provide coverage if the bodily injury or death is sustained from:
- Intentional injury to self, attempt to suicide, or suicide
- Under the influence of drugs or intoxicating liquor.
- Engaging in activities that are associated with ballooning or aviation activities, while dismounting from or mounting into an aircraft and/ or balloon (other than when traveling as a passenger).
- Disablement or death of any kind that results in indirectly or directly or during pregnancy or child-birth.
- Arising because of any criminal activity that is committed by the insured.
Documents Needed for Personal Accident – Disablement Claim
The list of required documents in case of filing a disablement claim is as follows:
- Claim form that is duly filled and signed.
- English translation of all the required common documents that are duly attested by the Notary.
- FIR copy that is duly attested by the issuing authority or notary.
- Discharge or admission summary of the hospital where he/she is admitted after the accident.
- Certificate of attendant doctor that mentioning whether he/she is disabled and if so, the disablement percentage (this certificate is a part of the claim form for disablement).
- Original certificate issued from the employer that confirms the period of absence from the duty.
- Copies of scan, x-ray, test reports related to the accident or treatment.

The list of required documents in case of filing a death claim is as follows:
- Claim form that is duly filled and signed.
- English translation of all the required common documents that are duly attested by the Notary.
- FIR copy that is duly attested by the issuing authority or notary.
- Copy of post-mortem that is duly attested by the notary or issuing authority.
- Original death certificate
- Report Pachanama, inquest report that is duly attested by Notary.
- Legal Heir certificate (original)
- Death or death summary if the deceased person was admitted to the hospital after an accident.
