Comprehensive Bike Insurance by Reliance General Insurance Company covers the following expense during the policy term:

  • Third-Party Liability Cover: It fulfils the statutory legal requirement. The policy financially protects the insured two-wheeler from third-party bodily injuries, death cover, permanent disability, and property damage cover up to Rs 1 lakh,

  • Protection against theft and burglary apart from several malicious human acts like riots, arson, vandalism, strikes, terrorism, etc., to name a few.
  • Protection against a vast range of natural calamities like earthquakes, floods, and cyclones, among others.
  • Personal Accident: The owner-driver is covered for Rs 15 Lakh in case of accidental death and permanent disabilities due to a road mishap

What Is Not Covered Under Reliance General Comprehensive Bike Insurance?

Some of the common exclusions under this two wheeler insurance are given below:

  • Wear and Tear: Every two-wheeler suffers regular wear and tear with usage. The policy does not cover for such depreciation of parts unless covered by the Zero Depreciation add-on.
  • Illegal Acts: The policy does not cover any claims for damage or loss to the insured two-wheeler caused due to any illegal activity. It may even be riding without a valid driving license.
  • Drink and Drive: Riding under the influence of intoxicants like alcohol and drugs excludes policy coverage.
  • Other Exclusions: The policy does not cover mechanical and electrical failure. The exclusions also extend to driving beyond India’s geographical boundaries.
