      Benefits of Reliance Comprehensive Car Insurance Policy

      You would be entitled to the following benefits with the Reliance comprehensive car insurance policy:

      • Financial Coverage: With a car insurance policy from Reliance General Insurance Company, you can get financially covered in case your car sustains damages due to accident, collision, theft, fire, etc.
      • Third Party Cover: With a comprehensive car insurance policy, you can also get covered in case your car meets with a third party accident. Liabilities related to third party death, disability and property damage are covered.
      • Cashless Repairs: Hassle-free repairs through a network of 5000+ partner garages PAN India offering cashless services for quick claim settlement.
      • Personal Accident Cover: Apart from covering the insured car, you can also cover the owner/driver of the insured car by purchasing a Personal Accident Cover. This additional cover is mandatory and offers up to Rs. 15 Lakh compensation under death or disability cases.

      Coverage Under Reliance Comprehensive Car Insurance

      The coverage offered under a Reliance comprehensive four-wheeler insurance policy are:

      Following incidents are covered under Reliance Comprehensive Car Insurance Policy:

      • Damage to the vehicle is caused due to civil unrest, riots, or strikes
      • Damages caused due to unforeseen events such as earthquakes, storms, cyclones, floods, etc.
      • Policyholders would also be covered against total or partial loss of their vehicle due to theft
      • Any damage caused to the property of a third party or any bodily injuries sustained in a car accident would be covered under your Reliance comprehensive car insurance policy.
      • Losses caused to the insured car as a result of fire, self-ignition or explosion
      • Damages to the insured car while it was in transit via road, rail, water or airways.

      Following factors are not covered by Reliance comprehensive car insurance policy:

      • Cars used for commercial activities are not eligible for coverage under this car insurance policy.
      • Any sort of regular wear and tear causing damage to the car would not be applicable for compensation under this policy.
      • Depreciation of parts would also be charged as a compulsory deductible at the time of claim settlement if car parts are replaced
      • If there are any type of illegal activities the insured vehicle is engaged in. Such illegal activities also include underage driving.
      • Any damage caused to the car due to the driver being under the influence of alcohol or drugs would fail to claim for compensation from the insurer.
      • Driving without a license falls under the category of illegal driving, hence would not attract any compensation from the insurer in the event of a car accident/unforeseen mishap.
      • Reliance comprehensive car insurance policy carries a predetermined geographical location. The policy allows compensation only for damages occurring in the ambit of the predefined location as mentioned in the policy document.
