HDFC ERGO No Claim Bonus in Bike Insurance Policy
When you purchase a comprehensive or standalone own-damage policy, you can receive the benefits of a No Claim Bonus (NCB) for every claim-free year. An NCB is a reward given to the policyholder for driving safely and not raising claims. The cumulative bonus (NCB) can go up to 50% in the fifth consecutive year.
However, if you submit a minor claim, your cumulative bonus (NCB) will become zero. Hence, it is advised to refrain yourself from filing claims for minor dents or small damages.
