        The Waiting Period Modification rider modifies the pre-existing disease waiting period from 4 years to 2 years or 3 years. This rider is available under HDFC ERGO my:health Koti Suraksha, my:health Suraksha and my:credit Comprehensive Suraksha plans.

      2. Loss of Job

        The Loss of Job rider pays a fixed amount if the insured voluntarily resigns from the job within six months of being diagnosed with a critical illness at a major stage or being operated for a major stage surgical procedure. This rider is available under HDFC ERGO my:health Critical Suraksha Plus, my:health Women Suraksha and my:credit Comprehensive Suraksha plans.

      3. Aggregate Deductible

        The Aggregate Deductible rider enables the insurance company to pay the claim amount only after the policyholder bears the medical expenses for up to the specified aggregate deductible amount. This rider is available under HDFC ERGO Health Wallet, my:health Koti Suraksha and my:health Optima Secure plans.

        The Hospital Cash Global rider pays a daily cash allowance to the policyholder for each day of overseas hospitalization. This rider is available under HDFC ERGO my:health Koti Suraksha, my:health Critical Suraksha Plus and my:credit Comprehensive Suraksha plans.

      5. Sum Insured Rebound

        The Sum Insured Rebound rider refills the coverage amount for up to the sum insured if it gets exhausted due to a claim. This rider is available under HDFC ERGO my:health Koti Suraksha and my:health Suraksha plans.

      6. Emergency Air Ambulance

        The Emergency Air Ambulance rider pays for the transportation cost of the insured to the nearest hospital during a medical emergency using an aeroplane or helicopter. This rider is available under HDFC ERGO my:health Suraksha and my:health Optima Secure plans.

      7. Critical Illness

        The Critical Illness rider pays a lump sum amount if the insured is diagnosed with any of the 8 listed critical illnesses during the policy year. It comes with a survival benefit of 30 days. This rider is available under HDFC ERGO Easy Health and Maxima Insurance plans.

      8. Post Diagnosis Support

        The Post Diagnosis Support rider pays for the medical expenses incurred on a second medical opinion, post-diagnosis assistance and molecular gene expression profiling test. This rider is available under HDFC ERGO my:health Critical Suraksha Plus and my:health Women Suraksha plans.

      9. E-Opinion for Critical Illness

        The E-Opinion for critical illness rider pays for the medical expenses incurred on availing a second medical opinion for a listed critical illness. This rider is available under HDFC ERGO my:health Suraksha and my:health Optima Secure plans.

      11. Non-Medical Expenses Cover

        The Recovery Benefit rider provides a fixed amount for the recovery of the insured in case of more than 10 consecutive days of hospitalization. This rider is available under the HDFC ERGO my:health Suraksha plan.

      35. Preventive Health Check-up Booster

        The Preventive Health Check-up Booster rider covers the cost of preventive health check-ups availed every year at a network service provider of the insurance company. This rider is available under the HDFC ERGO my:health Suraksha plan.

      36. Outpatient Dental Treatment

        The Extended Cumulative Bonus rider increases the cumulative bonus percentage from 5% to up to 50% every claim-free to up to a maximum of 100% or 200%. This rider is available under the HDFC ERGO my:health Suraksha plan.

      41. Room Rent Modification Option

        The Room Rent Modification rider levies a hospital room rent limit to 1% of the sum insured in case of hospitalization and 2% of the sum insured in case of ICU admission. This rider is available under the HDFC ERGO my:health Suraksha plan.

      42. Major Illness – Benefit

        The Major Illness – Benefit rider pays a lump sum amount if the eldest insured member is diagnosed with a listed major illness for the first time during the policy period.       43. Secure Benefit

        The Secure Benefit rider provides an additional amount to cover the incurred medical expenses if the base sum insured has been exhausted. This rider is available under the HDFC ERGO my:health Optima Secure plan.

        The Daily Cash for Shared Room rider pays a daily cash amount if the policyholder stays in a shared accommodation at the hospital. This rider is available under the HDFC ERGO my:health Optima Secure plan.

        The Protect Benefit rider covers the non-medical expenses incurred by the insured during hospitalization. This rider is available under the HDFC ERGO my:health Optima Secure plan.

      46. Plus Benefit

        The Plus Benefit rider increases the sum insured of the policy by 50% for up to 100% on each renewal. This rider is available under the HDFC ERGO my:health Optima Secure plan.

      47. Unlimited Restore Benefit

        The Unlimited Restore Benefit rider refills the coverage amount to up to 100% unlimited times in a year if the base sum insured gets partially or fully exhausted. This rider is available under the HDFC ERGO my:health Optima Restore plan.

      48. Waiver of Aggregate Deductible

        The Waiver of Aggregate Deductible rider allows the policyholder to either reduce or waive off the applicable deductible once in the lifetime of the policy. However, it can be purchased only if the eldest insured member is below 50 years. Also, the coverage will be activated after five renewals and if the eldest insured member is below 61 years old.       49. Global Health Cover (Emergency Treatments Only)

        The Overseas Travel Secure rider pays for the cost of overseas hospitalization, transportation of the accompanying person to India and the overseas accommodation of the accompanying person. This rider is available under the HDFC ERGO my:health Optima Secure plan.

        The Maternity Benefit rider covers the medical expenses incurred on the newborn baby’s delivery. This rider is available under the HDFC ERGO my:credit Comprehensive Suraksha plan.
