      The HDFC ERGO Optima Secure plan offers a sum insured ranging from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 2 crore. It is available in five variants - Suraksha, Secure, Super Secure, Global and Global Plus.

      Step 2: Go to the ‘Renew Your Policy’ tab on the top of the page and select ‘Health Renewal’

      Step 3: Choose your country code, enter your phone number and fill in the OTP received on your phone

      Step 4: First-time customers can go to the ‘health insurance’ icon on the homepage and fill in the required details

      Step 5: Choose the HDFC ERGO health insurance plan you want to renew and pay its premium.

      Step 6: The insurer will renew the ongoing health policy of the NRI.

      How to File a Claim with an HDFC ERGO Health Insurance Plan for NRI?

      Claim Intimation

      Get hospitalized at a network hospital of the HDFC ERGO General Insurance Company and show a valid photo ID along with your HDFC ERGO health card

      Request for Pre-Authorization

      The network hospital will send a pre-authorization request to the insurer seeking approval for cashless treatment.

      Get Cashless Treatment Approval

      The claims team of the insurance company will review your documents and approve your pre-authorization request.

      Submit Documents

      The hospital will submit all the required documents to the insurer after getting discharged from the hospital.

      5

      Claim Settlement

      The claims team will crosscheck all the documents, grant final authorization and pay the bill amount to the network hospital.

      Note: In case of reimbursement claims, the NRI must pay all your hospital bills at the time of discharge and collect all the documents. Submit the required documents to the HDFC ERGO General Insurance Company within 30 days of discharge. The claims team will verify all the documents and process the claim within 7 days.
