  Future Generali India Travel Insurance Coverage

  The insured is provided with the following coverage under a Future Generali India Travel Insurance policy:

  • Medical Expenses: It covers any medical expenses including hospitalization and emergency ambulance charges arising due to an illness or an accident.
  • Delay or Loss of Baggage: Future Generali India will pay compensation to the insured if the airline misplaces their check-in baggage.
  • Loss of Passport: The insurer will cover expenses incurred in obtaining a duplicate or new passport in case the passport of the insured gets lost during his stay abroad.
  • Trip Cancellation/ Curtailment: Any losses incurred due to cancellation or curtailment of the trip will be refunded by the Future Generali India Travel Insurance.

  • Sponsor Protection: Future Generali India Travel Insurance will reimburse the tuition fees pre-paid to the university if the sponsor of the insured student dies or suffers permanent total disability in an accident.
  • Bail Bond: The insurer will pay for the bail of the insured student abroad if he is arrested by the police under a bailable offence.

  • Pre-Existing  Diseases and Related Complications: This policy does not cover any pre-existing diseases of the insured and any complications arising from them
  • Self-Inflicted Injury or Illness: This Future Generali India Travel Insurance policy does not cover self-inflicted injury like suicide, attempt to suicide or illness due to mental disorder, stress, anxiety or depression, venereal diseases, HIV and AIDS
  • Routine Physical or Other Check-up: Expenses incurred on physical check-ups or other examinations that do not indicate any impairment in health as well as medical expenses incurred after the expiry of the policy tenure (Not excluded in Student Travel Insurance)
  • Influence of Alcohol or Drugs: Any injury or illness due to dependency or abuse of alcohol, drugs or under the influence of alcohol

  • Loss Not Reported: This Future Generali India Travel Insurance policy does not cover any loss not reported to the local police within the first 24 hours of the discovery of the loss (Not excluded in Student Travel Insurance)
  • Travel Restrictions: Under the Schengen & Worldwide Travel Insurance policy, travel to Haj, Mansarovar and other places or countries where travel has been restricted by the Indian government are not included. It also does not cover travel by ship.
