Axis Mid Cap Fund Facts

Axis Mid Cap Fund was launched on 18/02/2011, which means it has been in existence for more than 10 yrs. And currently, this fund manages an AUM of ₹15,987.99 Cr (as of October 31 2021).

The Axis Mutual Fund manages the Axis Mid Cap scheme. It launched its first fund in 2009. Axis Mutual Fund is owned by Axis Bank Limited, which owns 74.99% of the company, and the Schroder Singapore Holdings Private Limited owns 25%.

The Axis Mid Cap scheme has two types of plans:

Investment Objective

The investment objective of the Axis Mid Cap Fund is to provide long-term capital growth to its investors by allocating its capital primarily in equity and equity-related instruments of mid-cap companies.

The fund managers use a fair value research process to analyze the potential of any stock (fair value of a stock is the intrinsic value of that company). The companies selected have a sustainable competitive advantage over their peers due to their robust business model.
