Tax Implication

Launched by TATA Mutual Fund in year 1996, the scheme was made available to the investors on 24th May 1996. Currently, the TATA Ethical Fund is managed by Mr Pradeep Gokhale and has an AUM of Rs 802 crore. The latest NAV of the scheme is Rs 227.53 as of 5th May 2021.  

As an equity-oriented fund, TATA Ethical Fund includes high risk. The investors can invest in this fund either through the process of SIP by investing a minimum amount of Rs 500 per month or can make a minimum lump-sum investment of Rs 5000. 1% redemption cost is charged within 365 days for units in excess of 12% of the investment.

TATA Ethical Direct Plan-Growth is a thematic mutual fund scheme offered by TATA Mutual Fund.  Launched on 01/01/2013 TATA Ethical Fund Direct-Growth has an AUM (Asset Under Management) of 62077Cr as of 31/03/2021. This is a medium-size fund of its category. As compared to the other thematic fund charge, the TATA Ethical Fund Direct-Growth has an expense ratio of 1.28%. Since its inception, the fund has delivered an average annual return of 15.63%. The fund has doubled the money invested in it every 5 years.
