The key features of PNB Pranam Fixed Deposit Scheme are as follows:
Deposit Amount: Minimum Rs. 100/-, multiples of Re. 1/- up to Rs. 1,99,99,999/-.
Period of Deposit: Income Option: 1 to 10 years in chosen months/quarters. Maturity Option: 1 to 10 years, including incomplete quarters.
Interest: Card Rate per IRMD guidelines + 0.50% for Senior Citizens from age 60.
Interest Options:
Income Option: Quarterly at simple interest or monthly at a discounted rate.
Maturity Option: Compounded quarterly, paid at maturity.
Premature Withdrawal: Allowed with lower contractual or applicable rate, no penalty post age 60.
Demand Loan/Overdraft: Deposits above Rs. 10,000/- eligible on request. Overdraft available the next day.
Values under Different Options:
Maturity Option: Senior Citizen status required from age 60 for additional interest.
Income Option: Interest adjusts automatically on attaining Senior Citizen status.
Savings/Current account mandatory.
Date of birth mandatory.
No additional benefit if Senior Citizen status is not attained before death.
Existing depositors can switch with proof of age, old deposits cancelled without penalty.
Confirmation of Deposit (CD) reflects applicable interest rate from Senior Citizen status date.

Can be opened singly or jointly with others. For joint deposits, the senior citizen must be the first holder.

Verification is conducted at the branch level for both new and existing customers.
