e-Aadhaar Card Downloading Steps:

Check Aadhaar Status via Enrollment Number

  • You will be forwarded to https://eAadhar.uidai.gov.in/
  • Subjected to whether you have the UID or EID, choose the suitable option
  • Enter your Aadhaar number /enrollment number
  • Fill your all personal details, like:
  • Full name
  • Mobile number
  • PIN code
  • Image captcha
  • Click on OTP (One Time Password)
  • The OTP will be sent to your mobile phone in few minutes
  • Enter the one-time password to confirm your request and click download
  • A PDF format of your Aadhaar card will be downloaded
  • You can open your aadhaar card PDF by entering the password and pin code.

Once the PDF format of Aadhaar card is downloaded, you can use the printout copy of it wherever it is required.

Download Aadhaar Card by Enrollment Number 

Here is the process that is required to be followed in order to do so.

  • Go to - www.uidai.gov.in
  • Go to the section ‘Aadhaar online services’ and click ‘Aadhaar enrolment’
  • You will be forwarded to the web page of eAaadhaar
  • Enter the time stamp and the 14 digit EID number provided in the acknowledgment slip.
  • Once you are done with this, enter your other details like pin code, name, mobile number and image Captcha to produce one time password.
  • You will receive the OTP in your registered mobile number.
  • Enter the one time password to confirm your request
  • The Aadhaar card will be downloaded automatically to your computer
  • A PDF format of your Aadhaar card will be downloaded
  • You can open your aadhaar card PDF by entering the password and pin code.
  • You can use the printed copy of your aadhaar card as the original document.

In case, you have lost either of the enrolment details or acknowledgment slip then you can retrieve lost EID by referring to UIDAI website. Here is the process that you will be required to follow:

  • Go to the website - www.uidai.gov.in
  • Go to the Aadhaar Online Services and choose Retrieve Lost ‘UID/EID’
  • Click on the selection to get your lost EID
  • Enter your details like full name, mobile number or email ID, and security Captcha to receive the one time password.
  • The OTP will be sent to your mobile phone in few minutes
  • Use the one time password to confirm your request
  • After the verification of OTP, you will be delivered with your enrolment details

However, applying for aadhaar card and the aadhaar card downloading process is very simple the applicant might get rejected in some of the cases.

. There can be cases where your aadhaar card enrollment application is rejected. This can be an outcome of you not enrolling yourself earlier or not having a proper documentation.
