Liberty car insurance offers multiple benefits to its policyholders. They are:
Liberty General Insurance Company offers three basic types of motor insurance policy. These are:
This Liberty vehicle insurance policy covers a policyholder against third party liabilities, such as third-party injury/death and third party property damage involving the insured car. It helps to fulfil the mandatory requirement of having a third-party insurance cover for every car owner in India. Under this policy, the liability for third party injury or death is unlimited, but third party property damage is only covered up to Rs. 7.5 lakh. However, this policy does not cover damages incurred by the insured car.
The Standalone Own Damage policy covers the insured car against damages arising due to unexpected incidents like road accidents, theft, fire, natural calamities, etc. This policy only covers the insured car and can be purchased in addition to the third-party liability-only policy.
For instance, if a policyholder already has a third party liability and wants to cover damages to own car, then he/she can purchase a standalone own-damage policy.
The Comprehensive car policy provides coverage against damages to the insured car along with third-party liabilities. This policy compensates the policyholder in case the insured car meets with an unforeseen incident such as an accident, theft, fire, earthquake, riot, etc. Along with covering the insured car, the comprehensive car insurance plan also covers third-party liability, such as third party injury, death or property damage.
The coverage of a comprehensive plan can also be enhanced by purchasing add-on covers offered by the insurance company at an extra premium amount.
A policyholder can also calculate the premium of the four-wheeler insurance plans offered by Liberty General Insurance Company using a Liberty car insurance premium calculator. This calculator is a quick tool to assess whether the car insurance premium fits your budget requirements or not.

If the insured vehicle breaks down somewhere on the road, then this cover will provide roadside assistance.
These include minor repairs, arranging emergency fuel, towing of the insured car, and other services.
A Passenger Assistance cover provides coverage for the passengers travelling in the insured car, such as hospital allowance,
medical expenses and medical transport assistance, in case of an accident.
Under the Depreciation cover, the insurance company provides coverage for the
depreciation borne by the insured car, which is excluded by the basic car insurance policy.
The consumables add-on covers the cost of replacing
or refilling consumable items, such as grease, oil filter, nuts, bolts, etc., of the insured car.
Under the Gap Value Cover, the policyholder will receive the difference between IDV
and the invoice value of the insured vehicle in case of theft or total loss of the vehicle.
In case the keys of the insured car have been lost, broken or stolen, key replacement add-on cover
will compensate for the cost of repairing or replacing such keys.
The Engine protection add-on provides coverage to the policyholder
in case the insured car's engine or gearbox has been damaged due to water ingression or lubricant leakage
Under the loss of personal belongings add-on, the insurance company
will provide coverage for the loss or damage to the policyholder's personal belongings in the insured car
An NCB Protection cover will not nullify the No Claim Bonus even if two claims have been made by the policyholder.
Thus, this add-on cover helps in retaining NCB irrespective of claim registration.
Under the Daily Allowance cover, the policyholder will receive a daily allowance
for up to 20 days in case the insured car is being repaired at the approved garage.
